DOE/DMR Services
The United Arc of Franklin and Hampshire Counties

DOE/DMR services are designed to prevent residential placement of a child under 18 for families who have extensive care giving responsibilities.

Families receiving services under a DOE/DMR Plan typically receive longer term intensive levels of family support and case management for a child. Services may continue through the child’s 22nd birthday.

Services may include any of the items included in the array of general family support options.  DMR approves the annual DOE/DMR plan and an Arc DOE/DMR case manager offers case management to assist families in coordinating services.
